Q: Are abrasive grit and surface roughness the same concept?

A: No. Abrasive grit affects the coarseness of the surface grain, but the actual surface roughness is also influenced by the original substrate condition, number of grinding passes and processing parameters. Where a specific roughness is required, the target range and inspection method should be confirmed separately.

Q: Can the plate be ground on one side or both sides?

A: Yes. Single-sided or double-sided grinding can be provided according to the order requirements. When requesting a quotation, please also specify whether the reverse side has any requirements regarding appearance, flatness or subsequent fabrication.
