Custom Stainless Steel Medium & Heavy Plates Delivered for an Engineering Project in Brazil

In October 2017, XuanYi Stainless Steel completed the supply of custom-sized stainless steel medium and heavy plates for an engineering project in Brazil. From confirming the technical specifications to completing production and export shipment, the entire order was finished within 7 to 10 days, helping the customer obtain the required materials on schedule and avoid delays to the project.
The project began when a Brazilian engineering procurement company contacted us for a batch of custom stainless steel medium and heavy plates. Unlike standard stock materials, the customer required non-standard dimensions based on the project drawings, which meant that material availability, production scheduling and delivery time were more important than simply offering a competitive price. Since the materials were needed for an ongoing infrastructure project, the customer was looking for a supplier that could respond quickly and reliably while maintaining consistent product quality.
During the early stage of communication, our team carefully reviewed the required plate dimensions, material specifications and delivery schedule with the customer. After confirming the project requirements, we evaluated the available inventory and production resources to determine the fastest supply solution. Because every plate was produced according to the customer's specified dimensions, production planning and quality control were particularly important. Throughout the manufacturing process, our team monitored material preparation, cutting, dimensional inspection and final quality checks to ensure that every plate met the confirmed specifications before shipment. At the same time, the logistics team coordinated packaging, export documentation and shipping arrangements so the materials could leave the factory as soon as production was completed.
One of the key challenges of this project was the delivery schedule. Engineering projects often operate under fixed construction timelines, and delays in material supply can affect the progress of subsequent work. By coordinating production, quality inspection and logistics at the same time instead of handling each step separately, we shortened the overall lead time and completed the entire order within 7 to 10 days, significantly faster than the normal delivery cycle for customized stainless steel medium and heavy plates.
After receiving the shipment, the Brazilian customer expressed satisfaction with the product quality, dimensional accuracy and delivery performance. More importantly, the materials arrived in time to support the planned construction schedule, which was the customer's primary concern at the beginning of the project. The successful execution of this order also strengthened the customer's confidence in our ability to supply customized stainless steel materials for future engineering projects.
